Date of Barcamp / General Assembly
This year’s Barcamp will take place on Saturday June 13th, 2020 and one day later, on June 14th, the general assembly of the C3S. Everyone who is interested and, of course, members are invited to the Barcamp. Here we prepare the thematic basis of the general assembly, which takes place the next day (and which is for members only). If you want to get involved or just want to get a first impression, this is the perfect occasion for you. The topics, and the exact form how we handle it, are determined by the participants themselves at the beginning of the bar camp.
At the General Assembly we deal with the more formal part that is imposed on us by law or the statutes. Our managing directors and the board of directors will report on the past year and answer questions.
Both events will take place in Düsseldorf, Rochusstr. 44.
Some News About Our Software
From September 2019 to February 2020, our developers have been working on a federally funded project (Music Licensing Infrastructure for the Web), which manifested itself in the fact that we now have a structure for event registration (in addition to our existing work registration).

The project was funded with 47,500 € by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and implemented by Alex, Sarah, Thomas and Udo in more than 1,100 hours of work. After a well-deserved break, the team will concentrate on preparing another beta test phase, in which we can go through the entire process from the registration of a musical work to the registration of usage up to accounting and invoicing.
