Dear members and supporters,

finally, here we go! After the last couple of months, which were mainly dedicated to bureaucratic tasks – from the preparations for the support project from the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the furnishing and organization of the office and the workspace to the trademark registration –, things will at last become more tangible.

The first general assembly will commence soon! It will be held on August 23rd, in the context of the c/o pop in Cologne; if all goes as intended, the venue will be the Millowitsch Theatre. All members of the cooperative are invited to attend, because it is your opinions, your wishes and your ideas that are going to count! In brief: it is your time to talk, and there is a lot to talk about. Or, as m.eik said: “During this first general assembly, the groundwork will be laid for fundamental developments within the C3S. Tariff systems, the GEMA presumption, and the application to the German Patent and Trademark Office will be few of the topics we want to discuss. We will sincerely appreciate if as many as possible of our current 800 members turn up for this exchange!”

We offer a special treat for all members of the C3S who are strongly dedicated to the topic and want to immerse themselves more deeply than before the general assembly: thanks to a co-operation with the c/o pop, every C3S member is eligible for a ticket to the conference program on August 21st and 22nd 2014 at a special price of only 50 Euro (instead of 70 Euro for the early bird tariff).
